When will america learn that this war is NOT all president bush's fault i hate the media portraying it this way the president has no power without the support of the goverment BUSH is NOT the goverment...Look at it this way after 9/11 90 percent of the country supported the war and so did 90 percent of the goverment... now a few years later things are not going as smoothly as planned and everyone including the media blames ONE person the president and only the president. Everyone is complaining that our troops are being killed and to pull them out well when YOU, yes you voted for this war back in 2001 YOU asked for war and death is a part of war if we pulled out now we would be letting all those soldiers die in vain by doing a half assed job and i guarantee if we left now the iraq goverment would be toppled within a month im sick of democrat ignorance and this whole country just believe whatever the media says GET A LIFE AND MAKE DECISIONS FOR YOUR SELF! DID I MENTION I HATE DEMOCRATS

A lot of people supported the war to begin with because of the "evidence" given to us, the people. Many people supported the war right away but not everyone in the country thought it was a good idea. I think people blame him now because they feel he should have been more on top of things. The initial reasoning to go there was to find weapons of mass destruction (which we didn't). A lot of people look at his actions and don't see a person who really thought things through. We also realize at this point that the evidence, which looked clear at the time, turned out to be false. At this point no one will really ever know or understand the circumstances that acutally caused the war. I feel it's a shame...

The media is the media. They usually tend to run stories the way they feel the public will want to hear them. I'm not saying that 100% of Americans hate Bush right there. I know there are people out there who do like him. Think he's doing a good job, whatever. Truth of the matter is his approval rating is plummeting probably as we speak and there are reasons behind that. Not all from the wars, mind you. The media feeds on what the public wants. A lot of people dont' like him very much right now.

BTW Iraq has nothing to do with 9/11...It never did. The fact that you think that shows that the goverment propaganda machine truely works...Even though then never actually said directly themselves that Iraq was about 9/11. Iraq was about WMD's and a crazed dictator. Afghanistan is about 9/11...Well, trying to find the terrorists there, we didn't actually go to war with the country per se.

Before you get really angry after reading this...which I'm sure you will anyway I just want to say this. I am a Navy wife. My husband is currently on deployment in the Middle East...Does that sway my opinion? A little, not fully. I want to make sure that my husband is in harms way for a PURPOSE, for a REASON. I want him to come home to me and our 2 year old daughter. I want to know that he's missing 8 months of her life for a greater purpose.

I'm also undecided on which party I want to affiliate myself with so shouting, "Stupid democrat" at your computer screen might not actually be correct.

I hope that you can take a deep breath and relax a little (that is not supposed to be read as condiscending, I seriously mean that.) It might do you some good.

How sad that you are so full of hatred and ignorance. Many people were pro-war after 9/11 and you are right when you say that many of the people and government officials supported President Bush at that time. However, the time has come where many people and government officials no longer support the war. President Bush has made it clear that he believes in the war and he will continue the war regardless of what anyone else wants. It is as though the country went from being a democracy voting in war to what can only be considered a dictatorship of one man vowing to do as he pleases without regard to the democracy this country is supposed to be ruled under. Bush decided it was he alone that would make the decision to stay at war and veto anything the House and Senate put through with time lines to end the war. That is why everything is his "fault" now. When you become a one man show you take the good and bad that come with it. It has nothing to do with being a democrat or a republican.

Not all of us supported this war to begin with. Why again are we in Iraq when it was Osama bin Laden that crashed planes into the Towers and the Pentagon? Where is bin Laden now? Oh yeah, that's right, he is a free man hiding out doing what he has always done. Why is it we took down Suddam Hussein? Suddam had been doing terrible things to his citizens for decades, but we did not do anything before so why now? We all know, it was for oil. Fidel Castro is just as evil to the people of Cuba. Why have we not captured Castro and let the people put him on trial and hang him? Why is it okay to leave Castro ruling Cuba? Oh yeah, that's right, they have nothing we want.
