Adam was made from dirt, then Eve was cloned from him. They produced children by asexual reproduction as they had the same DNA. That's why only boys were born for a long time. The men all "begat" sons. Eventually the DNA got damaged enough to produce some women and that's when God decided to drown everybody.
After the flood Noah, who was a product of incest, and his sons & their wives began to populate the earth. Cousins marrying cousins.
Moses was the last product of incest that was legal. (Although with only the original Adam & Eve, there is still not much diversity of DNA since everyone actually descended from them.
That's why we have some people who are not "quite right". Because of all that incest in the past.

Adam was made from the ground and Eve was made from his side
Adam and Eve had Able, Cain, Seth and 'other sons and daughters' as they lived like 800 years before the flood there was a long time for each generation to have many children
and populations grow exponentially

God formed Adam from the dust. He breathed the breath of life into him and Adam became a living soul.God saw that Adam was mighty bored and needed a mate and so God made Adam fall into a deep sleep and took one of his ribs and created Eve. Adam and Eve had children and their children had children (it was good thing to do to pass time back then). They were following orders from God to be fruitful and multiply.

Actually the world was repopulated by Noah and his Family. After the Flood.
God made Adam and Eve but left no recipe.

God created Adam.
The main ingredient being soil ...and what the Bible calls 'the breath of life'.
From Adam, Eve was formed.
You've heard this.
They had many children. (Genesis 5:4).
It would appear as if those children produced other children ....a practice that seems a bit repugnant today.
Please keep in mind that one son could be 35 years of age and his sister 18.
He would have been on his own for 15 years, perhaps.
They never really knew each other.
It makes it a bit more palatable.
Those people had children, who had children, who had children, who had your mother, who had you.
