well i suppose it's as good as any other religion

Dude. Go to the site and read it. It's a SATIRE the creator dreamt up to ridicule the Kansas State School Board's attempt to mandate the teaching of creationism in science classes, and it just caught on as a funny but nevertheless legitimate analog to other theisms, none of which have any testabl evidence either. I particularly like the way the FSM creator uses statistics to "prove" that global warming is the wrath of the FSM over people not wearing pirate regalia.

It's just a joke.

yes. It's just man's way of making himself feel good. They'll actually probably start seriously worshipping themselves. The Church of John. The Church of David. The Church of Amy. etc.

Not surprising. I bet that there is a group somewhere in the world, that worships an old Dumont television set, and think that God will miraculously appear on it one day, and tell his believers what they should do. Immediately after the Ipana toothpaste commercial, that is.
