I am Muslim. Shaving is Sunnah (tradition of the Prophet (saws)) It is not required by the Quran but most Muslims follow Sunnah also.

Islam generally encourages Muslims to appear neat, tidy and well groomed; this applies equally to males and females.

Greater emphasis in this matter, however, has been placed on married couples more than others; the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) set the perfect role model for all married couples when he said, “I prepare myself for my spouse, and she prepares herself for me!” The reason for this is not hard to comprehend, as such appearance may go a long away in contributing towards marital stability and fulfillment as the spouses are supposed to serve as garments of protection for one another.

In keeping with the above spirit, we find the Islamic sources laying greater stress in recommending wives to appear attractive before their spouses. The only limitation applicable here is resorting to practices that may amount to direct altering and tampering with Allah’s creation, for such practices are considered as clearly forbidden in Islam. Such forbidden practices include face-lift, breast enlargement, changing the natural color of the hair, bleaching, (plucking the eyebrows), etc.

All other forms of beautification, however, are considered permissible for females, especially married women. Such is the case with shaving their arms and legs, facial hair, and underarms, et cetera. Since there is nothing in the sources to prohibit such practices, they are considered permissible. In fact, shaving the armpits and pubic hair is considered highly recommended for men and women, while shaving other parts is permissible.

Pubic hair is amazingly erotic. It provides extremely some puzzle and intrigue. extremely some men like to play with a lady's pubic hair - run their fingers through it... rub their nostril on it... completely shaven looks very unnatural..... it exposes issues and make a lady seem as if a touch lady... extremely some advertising rigidity has made it a kind for females to apply extremely some diverse methods to get rid of pubic hair... a number of those are genuinely very risky... you ought to take up extremely some chemical substances in the technique... in some unspecified time sooner or later, the rage is going to opposite and females will go back to leaving their pubic hair organic or merely trimming it gently... i imagine that type has already began... compared to about 5 years in the past, fewer females are worried about preserving it completely shaved now.

Islam brings with it many rules like all religions and also many recomendations.

It is true that you should trim the hair of underarms and pubic area, this is only a recomendation and is considered healthy and clean. Not complying with this doesnt doom you to hell but deprives you of reward that will otherwise be give.

Their is no reason to shave the head hair, eccept for the one time when muslims go on pilgrimage to mecca for HAJJ. However like all aspects of mislim life it is recomended that modesty must be appllied when cutting the hair likewise the modesty used when dressing to reduce arrogance.

According to the Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh) every adult Muslim, as a part of keeping his/her body clean, should remove the hair on his pubic area and that which grows under his armpits. This hair may be removed through any method that one feels comfortable with. A person should not let this hair grow for more than (around) forty days, as has been reported in a number of narratives ascribed to the Prophet (pbuh).
my husband shaves and so do i. my husband and i do this because we believe if we are unclean our prayers are not excepted, because when we pray we have to have our clothing, our bodies and the area in which we are praying, clean.

We shave to be clean and hygienic. We have to pray 5 times a day and have to be clean during prayer so we also do wadu (cleansing) before each prayer. We dont have to shave our heads. nothing to do with the cross.

NO, only for the ignorant Muslims that don't read the Quran thus follow baseless Hadiths and superstitutions and fabrications that Allah warns the believers about in the Quran . only when men are going to Hajj do they
have to shave their heads.

There are no symbols in Islam. Men shave their beards at the end of Ramadan and shave their heads when going on Hajj. When praying they have to trim their mustache every forty days. Women are required to remove all hair (armpits and pubic) every forty days. It's part of Wudu that we do to make ourselves clean during prayer and so we are not like the animals.
