I often think if every Christian wore Chrisitan clothing or a pin or hat or had a flag at their house or bumper sticker, we would really be a much brighter light for others to get to know the God we love. So why doesnt it happen ? Are people embarrassed to let others know ?????????? I really would like to know just out of curiosity, because what we have received from Christ as believers, seems like we'd want to tell everyone so they could have it too ?

I agree with several of your responses, but we are all sinners, not perfect. God has a video camera on all of us and as we judge others who wear Christian things, do we expect them to be perfect ? WWJD, I think he would wear everything Christian he could get on himself and expect us to do the same. People are hungry to hear the Word and accept His love, even if we get one. I don't know, just thinking out loud.

Use to everyone had something. But, I've thought about this same thing just a few weeks ago. On occasion you may see a fish on the back of a vehicle. In the 80's early 90's believers had everything possible with a message.
Sounds like something we all need to get back too. I will do so this Wednesday when I go to the nearest book.
Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've never been embarrassed, it's the best life ever!

I find it most regrettable when the outward symbolism, like the Jesus t-shirt, and bumper stickers are not well represented by the wearers actions.
I am a Christian, and have cringed when I have seen someone wearing a cross or a t-shirt, and then see them behave belligerently in the line at the grocery store.
I love Jesus and it frustrates me to see that happening.

I am in no way embarassed but I think too many people depend on the outward symbols like shirts, pins, etc.
Letting my light shine is done by helping others, showing kindness, being a good example.
Jesus did not wear outward symbols and it didn't take long before by his ACTIONS people knew who he was.

I dont like wearing Christian clothing often because I am afraid that I might do or say something stupid and then thoses watching me will, there's another one of those hypocritical Christians. I do not want the Name of God despised because of me.

The college I teach at we are not permitted to wear pins, or Christian apparel.
Why doesnt it happen, well we have to have Christians running the government!

Well...I think people often watch Christians and see how they act. So, I try to be a light by doing what Jesus would do.

That doesn't sound all that bad, i guess most are somewhat embarrassed and shy about Jesus. I would feel better to know how many good people are around me.
