"hostages" and calling their capture "inexcusable."

i don't know about you...but those sound like fightin' words.

the price of gasoline affects inflation and the economy, not just personal pocketbooks...my words implied this.

Iranians attempted to capture US personnel before the Brits got taken.

I am guessing that they either planned to grab some Brits, in conjunction with Americans, or grabbed the Brits since the attempt to get the Americans failed.

Either way it would seem that US and UK have the same interests now in addressing Iran.

I hope they are fightin' words, and I hope Iran gets its collective butt kicked for it.

I also wish you and others like you would get off of the tired old "it's all about oil!" schtick....it's really starting to wear thin.

What Iran did was exactly what Bush said - inexcuseable, and the sailors and marines are just that - hostages.

If anyone will start taking action against Iran, it'll be Britain. And when they do, I hope they ask us to help because the camel jockeys in that particular pissant little country have had some good old-fashioned American PAYBACK coming since 1977!

If I found myself in Blairs shoes I would want to get the message across that Iran just F&^%ed UP. Otherwise they will do it again. I saw on the news that Iran only has one oil refinery. I think I would let them know that in 48 hours it will be Disasembled and a blockade would go into force to keep any gas out of the country. Iran cant fight a war without gas. I think Iranian oil would become much cheaper and the Iranians not the West would feel the pinch at the pump. But we have to figure out an honest way to keep Exxon from making billions off of our troubles.

Ok Britain, give us the word, please.

Once the word is given, Bush has a lot of payback to give Tony Blair.

Once more, into the Breach. Bring it on.

Israel, standby on Ready 5.

Actually, I'm sick of trying to solve everyone's problems. If Britain and the rest of Europe are so pissed off at how we're handling Iraq, I say they can take on Iran by themselves. Let's let them have a go at bringing peace to a region that has known nothing but war since Abraham kicked Ishmael out of his tent.

With the Royalties that Congress has already put on the oil companies we can expect that price anyhow. So what is your point?

If you think $4 a gallon is bad, you should try living in the UK. It's over $5 a gallon and they can't say jack about it like you can.

I hope you have fun fighting with your Muslim boyfriends. We'll see they give you a pork filled grave.
