Once, i went to my (VEGITARIAN) friends' house when i was in 2nd grade and I accidentally STUFFED a whole veggie-chicken-nugget into my mouth! i had no idea since it looked like a regular chicken nugget and I like threw up in her bathtub!!!! so embarrasing...she didn't force me but she never told me it was veggie-food either....

Like most people, I grew up having to try everything served at the dinner table. The absolute worst taste I've ever had was at a Thai wedding while stationed near Udorn Thani, Thailand. The celebration meal consisted of a great many delicious items and sauces. One of the delicacies is rice beetles, which are traditionally eaten by bending the head off and squeezing the abdomen to get all of the stuff inside. Female rice beetles are larger and therefore more delectable and popular. I was a guest and when the container was passed to me, the manners I learned at home kicked in and I reached in for one. Imagine my surprise to find that they were still alive. Well, with all eyes on me, I followed the way the person before had eaten one and I ate it. I followed it quickly with a big swallow of beer, but the taste was terrible.

Those Olestra fake fat potato chips. AWFUL! The olestra gave me (and others) horrific cramps and diarrhea.
Oysters, I can tell by looking at their slimy, slithery, jelly like-like consistency that they'd make me gag. Same with Spam.
My mom forced us to eat lima beans as kids. We'd sit at the table for hours looking at them. Weird texture, worse taste. Disgusting.

When I was a kid, my sister was huge on making "concotions" of the leftovers on her plate.
We went to a restaurant one night, and she mixed broccoli, pumpkin pie, mashed potatoes, Sprite, vanilla ice cream, and some gravy together. She put it in the ice cream dish and dared me to eat it. She kept dangling it in my face, and it looked absolutely disgusting. I still have the picture of it imprinted into my head...so gross!

Parsnips !! Turnips!!
But the worst was blood pudding (also known as blood sausage) and head cheese. Just the thought of them make me want to spew.
