Because they know girls think and feel so much with their hearts.
Also I dont think that is true. I think girls do that just as much. Trust me, you should hear my daughter and her friends on the phone with boy. They are PLAYERS. LOL

It's because on average, a guy is about 2-4 years behind a female in psychological development. They often don't reach true mental maturity till around age 20-24.
Sometimes this can be accelerated if they are forced to take on their own personal issues without support from family.
Depending on environment and social development of the region, girls are also able to have this same issue.

i would say about 80% of the time its not malicious, but rather done out of ignorance. not realizing cause & effect with human emotions, & the pain it can cause.
the other 20% can be real jerks, guys & girls alike.
sorry you had to go thru this kind of experience...
but; for it, you will become stronger & wiser. ( i know that's no consolation right now)

girls do it to, and i think its just because they don't care. both guys and girls want a bit of fun in their lives without the hastle and as a result someone gets hurt.
And the end of the day you have to face facts, unless your relationship is going to end in marriage then someone will get hurt.
