The best thing you can do is tell her how you feel. If you really want to work on a relationship, the best thing to start with is being open and honest. I would simply tell her you want to get back together and work things out.

Just be nice to her. Reminisce on some good times you guys had together. Eventually tell her how you feel and that you'd like her back.
Don't pounce on her with that idea right at the beginning. Let her remember that you guys used to have it good.

You should flirt with her a little bit and be really nice to her and show her that you were stupid for dumping her and u would be willing to get back together with her. Tell her how u feel and that u were stupid for giving her up.
