i got invited for a dinner with my friend's parents. she aint my girlfriend.. i kinda like her. i might ask her out later.
but according to her her dad is a bit jerk. which he is. how i can get him to like me ? what should i do/say ?
most of my friends and my ex's parents liked me. but this one is diff i think!!

one dont over do it. you might ask her what her dad likes and talk about that remember people like to talk about themselfs and be open and honest to the questions he may ask but the key rule is not to flip out just stay calm and have nice conversation dont try to hard cause he will pick up on it and the last thing u should always remember BE YOURSELF and even if he does not like you so what the world will not end and if she truley likes you does not matter what her daddy thinks.

It probably is different. But for advice I would say that you should be completely appropriate, dress well, look your best. If you have ever been on a job interview do exactly what you did there. The most important part of the puzzule have fun. If you got invited that must mean they are giving you a chance don't screw it up.

Be yourself, also find out what he likes and see if the two of you have anything in common. If you can find out that you do try to talk about that stuff at dinner. Also be really polite, and ask if there is anything you can do to help after dinner like clear the table or help wash the dishes. Good luck

when you walk in, offer a hand shake to them both and thank them both for having you to dinner. look them in the eyes when you talk. don't swear and be polite. those are the basics. other than that, just be yourself. oh yeah, remember you table manners. thats a big one. relax. you'll be fine.
