I was reading the NKJV Bible and came to a part where Jesus was doing the whole passover walk, and when he finally got there, something got my attention. There was a place before the temple where gentiles can go no further, then furhter in, there was a place where women can go no further, then further in, there was a place where jews can go no further, then further into the last temple, only the 12 chief priests can go. And of course, there was a last small place where only the chosen priest can enter. Anyways... Does this imply a heirarchy among people... I thought God loved us equally? Also, I heard from someone that God Blinded the Jews to free the Gentiles? - Whats up with that?

God loves us all equally but hierarchy does exist with regard to the roles that we play in society, even religious society. For comparison's sake, remember that there are nine choirs of angels which are arranged in a hierarchical fashion according to what the angel does and nothing else. St Augustine reminded his flock that he was a Christian with them and a bishop for them. When religious leaders become puffed up and proud they forget that their position only exists to serve others and not the other way around. Christ taught His disciples that, "the great ones of this world lord it over others, but it is not to be like this among you." Remember that He had picked only twelve as Apostles, seventy-two as disciples and put Peter in charge of the lot. The hierarchical arrangement is perfectly in accord with the Divine Plan. Tramping on people isn't, and God has no favourites.

It's not a matter of hierarchy. It's a matter of sanctification. The Gentiles were not the chosen people so they could only go so far into the temple. The Levites were chosen as the priest of the Hebrews so they could enter farther into the temple. When Jesus died on the cross the restrictions disappeared and the veil was torn apart because the sin that kept us separate from God was covered.
I've heard the same thing about the Jews being blinded. I don't see it that way. I believe that the Jews were given the opportunity to know Jesus first as the chosen of God. Then God sent them to the Gentiles.

When you read further, you will find that at the moment of Christ's death, the veil in the temple- that barrier through which only the most high priest could pass- was rent in twain. This meant that all people were now free to approach the throne of God, sanctified by God's grace. I don't know anything about the Jews being blinded- Jesus gave sight to the blind, not vice-versa.

Hierarchy? no.
The whole area you mentioned has God's attention, from the gentile courtyard to the holy of holies.
It was an arrangement to enable us to understand the situation in heaven.
Not everybody has easy access to God.
Although everybody can, indeed, obtain access to god.
God did not blind jews. Whoever told you that is off the mark.

well, when jesus finally died on the cross, the curtain at the temple was torn , freeing all to come to him through the blood of christ, and dont let anyone put obstacles in the way of you and jesus christ, there is no heirarchy!!!!!!!!! It was the reason he died for us.

That was before Jesus' crucifixion when the veil was torn in two. Now there is no difference-all can approach the mercy seat freely.

Man wrote the bible supposedly under the inspiration of God.

Read ''CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD", I think that you'll understand the bible better after reading it.
