Oh yea. Everything bad in the world is a direct result of US policy and the lap dog English who just follow orders, right? Why is it so hard for liberals to realize that the threats coming from Iran are not comical but real. Just as in the cold war, liberals have staked out the position that it is the US (the very country that saved Europe from communist takeover) that is the problem and nothing should be done to support it's efforts. Your supposition sounds all wrong to me. So how about this one. Iran are developing a nuclear weapon. They have crazy leaders who would be prepared to use them. They think the West may bomb their nuclear installations to stop the weapons being produced. So the Iranians take Western hostages, and hold them in the said nuclear installations so that the West cannot bomb them without killing their own people. I think my theory is probably nearer the truth than yours don`t you?
