too many christian follow blindly, in my opinion, thus fulfilling what jesus says about the blind following the blind, what happens to them? They fall in the ditch. of course Jesus was referring to sadducean and pharisitical leadership and was trying to correct truth and bringing people to repentance and faith.
Even the jews outlawed the prophecies of their own prophets, why would it be any different for christians and muslims and jews today?

At no time did Jesus ever say that the Bible is the only truth. What He did in fact say is that, "*I* am the Way, the Truth..." God alone is Truth and all particular truths which are revealed by God to man, or are discovered by human intelligence, have their source in God.
