I took a look at the atheist website (i only found 2 official ones)
and their stand against the Bible is based of the misguide minority of fundies that claim the creation was six twenty four hour days. Yet everyone I know, know that the crative days are indeterminate as spelled out in 2 Peter3:8 However, let this one fact not be escaping YOUR notice, beloved ones, that one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.
So, as the majority of Bible believers I know understand this clearly, is it not disgusting, that all of us are misrepresented by the atheist webmaster as holding to this scripturally unharmonious doctrine that is only held to by the small number of unreasonable 'fundies'?
The claims of Christians being uneducated; basically lumped together with those that are, is the most grossly misrepresented 'factoid' presented by the atheists, and in my opinion undermines their pretentious claims of fair and balanced information. Shame on you!

To M, the assaults on my beliefs by atheism do not delineate from what I know is the truth, so how is it fair for you to try and hide in the weeds, agreeing with your atheist brothers but not coming forwards when they are blatantly biased and incorrect with their accusations, if you desire not to all be lumped together, than you all should argue truthful claims, whether or not they are your base beliefs. To stand by silent when other atheists promote bigotry and lies is tantamount to your agreement with the flaws in your spectrum.

Yet the fact is that none of you atheists, can seem to come clean about the slanted(just like the western news media) portrayal, of all Christendom being of the beliefs of the fundies.
Your almost uniform consistency of answers betrays the fact that the majority of you are as unreasonable as the fundies. Good day!

Maybe, they were hoping no one would notice this blatantly biased claim. Atheism would be better served by providing the truth rather than slandering billions of people based on the deluded rantings of the fundies.

Brett A, try the search feature, it is very common as an aspect of browsers!

Certainly, as the educated person you claim to be, you would know that atheism is not only a disbelief in a higher deity but also a fundamental disbelief in basic organized religion at all, and therefore has no real, true official anything, let alone websites. Surely, with all of your education, you know that, right?
Sure, these websites are off-kilter, and misrepresent not only your Christian religion, but also atheism as well. Take what they say with a grain of salt. Bear in mind that just as Christians have a wide variance of belief, so too do atheists. Shame on you for lumping all atheists in the same antagonistic category.

It is very easy for people to lose sight of their target when they are arguing their points or defending their ideals. It's natural to define a group by the most vocal proponents of that group, even if those representatives are in the minority. (And they usually are.) Your webmaster could be doing one of two things. Either he's not objective and focused enough to argue what he's really against, or he's a radical who really dislikes all Christians and wants to lump them together. Either way, yes, it's unreasonable to go forth that way, and any argument he may have is lost due to his failings.

But to give an example of how easy it is to lose focus on our target, in your own question, you began by talking about a webmaster, and ended up by saying "the athiests." Your focus changed from a particular person and part of a group, to the entire group that they represent. I want to assume that your target really is the more radical athiests, but it's hard to tell if you're just talking about those few, or if you basically see athiests all as the same - in which case you would be doing the same thing as that webmaster, though with a smaller audience.

I think the majority of us are really trying to do what we feel is right in our lives, be we Christian, Athiest, or whatever else. I think we often fail though, in our passion to prove our points and defend ourselves.

The reason why we say what we do about fundamentalist Christianity is because they are the loudest and most politically well organized of the groups.

Fundamentalist pervert science to agree with the Bible. And moderate Christianity perverts the Bible to fit science. One is not better than the other, for in doing what they do they are still being intellectually dishonest.

Science is the only thing that has any facts. Religion is simply a perversion of reality.

One would think that someone who simply " doesn't believe in something" would find better things to do with their time than go about harassing those who do believe in something. It seems to me that to such persons, atheism has become a religion unto itself with the proponents of it going out into the world and trying to win converts.

If you dont visit the websites and show interest in them maybe they will shrivel up and go away! Every website hit means funding to keep it on the web.

Moderate Christians have a huge job in front of them. (as do moderate Jews, and Islamists). We have to rescue our beautiful religions from the freaks who pervert them into excuses for war and hatred. People who want to return to the Dark Ages.

Because non fundies are basically people who have taken it upon themselves to change the very exact and easy to understand text of the Bible in order to make everyone happy. They are then, by definition, making people happy. No reason to pick on them.
