I've read that it is NOT okay to mail bridal registry slips with invitations. What *is* the right way?

It's fine to send them on your invitations. I do bridal registries for my purse party company and the girls that register put that on theres. No one has ever complained about it.

Every registration I've ever been notified of has been by a note at the very end of an invitation. Put all your information then at the bottom a line would say " ____ is registered at ____ " I'm not sure how else you would do it, that's all I've ever seen and I never found it rude or not ok.

By word of mouth. Let all your bridesmaids and immediate family member know, and tell whoever's number is on the RSVP to tell anyone who asks where you are registered. That's the only way. I've read it many a time from Miss Manners and other columnists.

it is okay to send that info on a shower invite but not the wedding invite. you have to take your chances. most people ask if you're registered anyway.

www.weddingchannel.com has a free website that you can post all of that on. Its proper to include the website in your invatation but do not just where you are registered in the actual invatation.

It is my opinion that bridal registries themselves are tackless. I will never register with one.
