I've gotten close with a man at work that I share a strong mutual attraction with. I've always dressed nice and on some days may would wear a short skirt or silk top. He compliments me on my clothes so I know he loves them. Recently, I have worn a couple of tops that he told me in a good friend kind of way to not wear back to work because it was too revealing. What I wonder is if he likes it (and I KNOW he does by the looking me up and down, smiling, etc.) why does he not want me to wear it again to work so he can enjoy looking at it? By the way, this attention is welcome from him. He has only recently started to notice my clothes which I've worked hard at for a long time! Would this be a sign of more attraction coming from him not wanting me to wear certain things that are revealing?

He MAY like what u are wearing, but NO man wants OTHER men to see his love interest in revealing clothes. Dress down (less sexy) 4 work, but dress up (sexy) when u ask him over

The relationship between a man and a woman is part physical and part mental. Men are very visual creatures. Most advertising has a sexual element to it.
He would like to get to know you better, as a person, without appearing to merely be motivated by physical attraction.

So, the question is, would you rather that he desire a relationship with you as a person or as a body dressed in revealing clothes? You are probably overstimulating him in a physical way and he is trying to tell you, in a nice way, that he prefers to develop the relationship without the overemphasis on the sensual aspect.
I'm sure that you look very nice in your clothing and you don't need to cover everything up from neck to ankle. Just make sure that he wants to be with you for the right reasons rather than appearing to make a play for him sexually.
Save the short skirts and revealing tops for after 5. They are a distraction in an office environment. He is actually doing you a favor there.

The fact that it is a bit revealing may be part of it. Another factor could be, depending upon what his position is at work, if he were in position to give you a raise or even a promotion, then it might look to the other employees that you only got it because of the way you dressed and not the work that you have done no matter how much work was accomplished.

He's attracted to you, you got that much down. You've just gotten one of the few guys out there that can think with their big head more often than the little one. He is probably worried about the appearance at work because he wants it to remain professional, but if he saw you at the beach in a bikini he would probably be all over you like white on rice.

What she wears says a lot about her. It shows if she is classy or a whore. Women normally spend a great deal of attention to their clothes, and it tells a guy what kind of person she is. If he is serious about you, maybe he doesn't want you to be loose and immoral, and he is thinking about you as a serious relationship. I would take it as a compliment, but it is hard to know what he is thinking from your description. You might have a heart-to-heart talk with him about it, ask him for advice on how he wants to to dress?

he wants to keep the competition to a minimum. If he likes what you're wearing, chances are other guys will take notice as well.

Besides, he's probably that wants you to dress just for him. If your clothes are too revealing, then you are actually advertising yourself...in a way.
