No I did not know of them all. I was aware of the Community of Christ (RLDS) and the Church of Christ. I knew there were a few other small groups that practiced their faith differently than us LDS do, but I was not sure the names of them. Thank you for listing them, I will do some research on them.

There are so many religions in the world that its impossible for anyone, Mormon or not, to know of them all. Yes, many are aware of these groups, just like any other religion is aware of other groups (such as the Catholics knowing about all the different sects of Protestants).
In the grand scheme of things, however, it really doesn't matter. It's impossible to say who is right, and who isn't right. That is why in a religion you have a belief and faith, because you don't know without a shadow of a doubt.
So back to the original question, the answer is perhaps God said to have no other "Gods" before me, but people in general, Christian or not, have "Gods" before him. Think of what you worship in life. What do you spend more time doing than, say, reading scripture. I believe that God would say something like that to warn us of what we are worshiping and what we are idolizing. And, it is entirely possible that God never said that, or that he may not even exist. We live in a world of uncertainty, so no one can truly give you the "correct" answer.

The Order of Apostolic Brethren?
FLDS?
RLDS/CoC?
The LDS Church actually has more splinter groups than the Catholic Church! (counting only those that split from the Churches themselves, and not from previous splinter groups)
Every time a questionable event ocurred in the LDS History, more splinter groups were formed. It's almost humorous!

Yes, I have heard of most of them...except for the Mormon Godess thing. That's actually pretty funny! I thought I was the Mormon Goddess! haha!
Also, the Brickertonites
oh, you got the Community of Christ. :) Yeah, what would the world be without the Community of Christ?
And of course, your favorite and mine, the FLDS...
Fun stuff, eh?

There are many cults, that denigh Christ outright and some, take away and add to the Scripture. This will be a fact untill the end comes. We must be careful who we listen to and also research what they try to teach. The best solution to these groups is, If its not in the Bible its a lie and a deception.
