According to biblical interpretation, the dinosaurs were created the day before man was created, lived concurrently with mankind, and everything that science has come up with about them, including carbon dating of fossils, is a big fat lie.
In other words, you won't stump the biblical literalists with that question!

For gosh sakes, Mick! I don't believe this fairy tale, I was just telling you about it. Guess the sarcasm wasn't obvious enough! Obvious sarcasm has gotten me into trouble before, so I tend to tone it down.

According to most creationist the world is only like 10,000 years old and carbon dating is a lie. Most also believe there was a canopy of water that helped people live longer and accounts for where all the water came from during the floods. I have talked to some Baptist and they don't even believe in dinosaurs, they say the bones were planted there. As far as what god was doing, i imagine him Zeus, Allah, and all the other thousands of gods were having a reunion

God has created the basics of the world and laid down a system that runs automatically. After that God remained silent until the end of the world or a reverse process starts.

Time is not relevent in the dimension in which God resides. God was always here, it is his universe. He created us to eventually discover him, possibly he has other children in heaven maybe.

i wondered about that too... the bible didnt mention about the time between when animals came out and when humans came out.
the whole religion doesnt make sense to me, so if i had to think "logically" along the lines of the bible, i'd burn a hole in my brain.
