How can I set Windows Media Player to not go into a folder I previously used to find a file to use?

For example, If I played a Red Hot Chili Peppers song in Windows Media player, from a folder entitled "Stadium Archadium", then later opened up Windows Media player and went to File/Open and that folder showed up, how would I set it to not do that?

Whenever you play a song in Media Player, it puts it in its library. It will always remember the path to that song. You can delete it from the library, but make sure the library delete is set to only delete from the library, and not from the computer.

Hi. That is from your MRU (most recently used) file. Supposed to be convenient. You could use a program that finds MRU data and erases it. There is a setting under "Library, More options, Security tab". Uncheck the "Save URL..." box.
