My 8 month old cat likes to sit at the table and eat with silverwair and a napkin around her neck. Should I encourage this behavior or make her stay away from the table top?

Wow.....I'm looking at your spelling of SILVERWARE and thinking that your cat is smarter than you! Well, I suppose it's possible that YOU'RE feeding your cat from utensils.....there's no way an animal can do this alone. So, if this is what you've taught to your pet, then this is what it knows and I would say you've already encouraged it.

Encourage this behavior and also incorporate a nice sterling silver candelabra placed in the center of the table. It would also be ideal if you could play some soothing classical music, I'd suggest Bach, or Bram Tchaikovsky. Oh, and don't forget to add a lace table cloth, and I would be remiss if I didn't tell you that it's a good idea to start saving now so that in the future you can afford the luxury of foot servants that will give your cat the added feeling of an intimate and elegant dining experience!

Gary,
You must give that cat a table of its own.
Get a little alluminum bowl (normaly used 4 pies)
and place the feeding dish on top of the bowl.
Please do the same for the water.
Put the water to the right of the food.
The litterbox to the left of the food.
This way, your cat can get around
very easily and won't have to wonder
where his or her litterbox is.
I recommend feed it Purina Naturals
cat food. It's very helpful to a cat's diet.
it does Sadie(my cat) wonders!

you are too silly. everyone knows cats don't have opposable thumbs, so it is impossible that the cat uses silverware and equally impossible to tie a napkin around it's neck. i encourage you to get back on your lithium and stop torturing your cat. lmao

PS Hey SUSTASUE, it's not bram Tchaikovsky, it's Peter illyich Tchaikovsky. and tchaikovsky is not considered ideal music for dining, it is much too choppy. beethoven or vivaldi would make much better choices.

Where do you live? Because if you have a cat that uses a fork and knife like a human I want to see it for myself. Come on people...your seriously that bored that you have to make up stuff to ask questions about??

Invite her on the table top to feast on moths and mice. Only supply chop sticks and while your at it, put the litter box up there to so she doesn't have to go far.
