should be called the car of yesterday. i dont think the spoiler will perform at talledega and daytona. there is a gap between the trunk and the spoiler which will create less speed and downforce and limit the cars once again. these cars were built to run 212 mph and now they will be lucky to break 180.
sigh

Until NASCAR finds another way to equalize or attempt to equalize the field the C O T will be the way.
There are only 10 or 12 cars that are winning most of the races and some fans are complaining so NASCAR wants to make the fields so all 43 have a chance when the green flag drops. Now there are 10 or 12 teams that could win and another 15 or so that could if they get a break and the rest are back markers that have little chance. So NASCAR wants to make a level field and the C O T is the start.
Other things could happen are sealed kit engines that teams get at inspection.Smaller engines, regulated engines(restrictor plate for each track). So C O T is lesser of the evils now.
Me I don't like the flapping wing but somebody does so until one flysoff and injurs somebody were stuck.
That's all I have to say about that.

It is hard to say, I think the drivers need time to adjust to the car, it is definitely different than what they are used to driving. I don't know that it will be a good thing, it is too early to tell. I believe many drivers will have to change their style of driving if they will be successful with it and I don't think that is a good thing. One thing for sure, it will just bring the sport closer to being like IROC which definitely is a bad thing, if this is the direction NASCAR is taking, I will have to find find something else to do on race days.

Hopefully not very long....I don't like the new car. But once they decide to get rid of that one they'll come up w/ a worse car. NASCAR is changing to much. I love NASCAR but it is changing into a popularity contest basically.

It's here now and millions have been invested. Makes me wonder if NASCAR ever heard the old saying "IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT!" Ah well "ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO AN END."

Yeah the stupid "splitter" is a piece of work. Cars have bumpers. It is one ugly piece of crap. They did they same to the Silver Crown cars. I am sure the majority of drivers are rolling on the ground laughing their azzez off.

It will not go away. There is too much time and money put into it. We may see changes made to it, but it is here for the long haul.
