ok. here's the thing. i can accept and visualize no complete end to life.... but God also has no beggining.... I can't really picture God just standing around doing nothing and then suddenly create us or whatever.... so i guess my question is what do you think god was doing 999,999 billion years ago? or 999,999 octillion years ago? i can keep going on and on.... i can picture no end to life simply because a simple example of this life is that we all strive for something in life. that even when completed we keep striving for something else.... such as i want to be an actor... once i've done that i'll want to be happily married.... so on and so forth.

Ah, it's fun to imagine, isn't it? *l*

For all we know, we could be living in the Nth Universe He's created so far. Maybe He created the Universe as a way to cope after the perfection of Heaven got a smudge on it with Lucifer's rebellion. His favorite angel was cast down, and maybe He made the Universe to fill the void, so to speak.

This sort of speculation could go on forever. *lol*

God is outside of time and can move forward and backward in time so He saw creation before it ever was and how it would turn out and decided to go ahead and create us anyway....I think 999,999 billion years ago, God was contemplating us and all that we would be and become and He loved us then.

Time is a function of space, and expanded with the universe. If there really is a God who transcends the universe, he existed outside the chronological procession of time.

To us presently; life has to be measured in time periods because our fleshly bodies 'wear out'. God being a spirit (not flesh) does not have as much of a concern with it as us presently!!!

You are not unique in your inability to perceive infinity. We are finite beings and all things in our world are finite. No one can answer your question except God. I hope you will have a chance to ask Him one day.

In Heaven and wherever God is, there is no time. One million years seems like a second to God. Again, we cannot comprehend life without time. It just is.

its hard for us to comprehend anything thats not on a physical timeline ... or even our own perspective of our timeline ... but it is just a point of view ... and there were other things and other races created before us ...

God doesn't exist. If you take him out of the equation, the universe makes a lot more sense.

However, there are still questions that we can't answer, like what, if anything, is outside of this universe.
