Bruschetta
1 loaf crusty French Bread (baguette)
3 tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1 onion, minced
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 pinch salt
1 pinch ground black pepper
2 balls of fresh Mozzarella, sliced

Directions:
1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2 Cut the loaf of French bread into 12 slices on the diagonal. Arrange the bread on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5 minutes, or until golden brown. Reduce the oven's temperature to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
3 In a small mixing bowl combine tomatoes, onion, garlic, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Mix well, cover, and refrigerate.
4 Spoon equal amounts of the tomato mixture onto the toasted slices of bread. Place slices of the Mozzarella ball on top and place the pan of bread back into the oven until the cheese has melted just slightly and is oozing over the tomatoes, approximately 2 minutes. Serve immediately.

i have one that is amazing and easy to make. All you do is bruch olive oil on the bruchetta, and sprinkly with feta cheese, smoked oysters, sundried tomatoes and parsley or oragano. You can put purple onions on there too if you like and mushrooms but the main three are a must. bake it in the oven for 15 minutes and then serve. mmmmm Enjoy!

I make it all the time.

3-4 plum tomatoes diced,
3-4 garlic cloves minced
3-4 sprigs of parsley
2-3 tbsp of olive oil
salt and pepper

Mix top ingredients together and let sit for 10 minutes

Slice french stick or Italian bread into bite size pieces
Dab some butter on each piece. Put some of the tomato mixture on each piece and bake for about 5 minutes in 350 degree oven. Delicious!

I used to make it all the time. I took french bread and sliced it in half inch slices. Top that with a little olive oil then put diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning and a little salt on that. Add some grated Italian cheese on top (Asiago, Romano, Mozzerella) and bake or boil for a few minutes until the cheese melts and starts to brown.

Here is a good one. Almost all bruschetta recipes have the same main ingredients: tomatoes, basil, garlic and olive oil but I have seen a lot of others with extra things like capers, onions, etc. You can leave the cheese off for traditional bruschetta but my kids like it. The best bruschetta is one made in advance and has time to sit and marinate.

INGREDIENTS
2 large tomatoes, coarsely chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon chopped fresh basil
2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
1/2 (1 pound) loaf Italian bread, cut into 1 inch slices
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, combine tomatoes, olive oil, basil and parsley. Place bread on a baking sheet, and top with tomato mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
Bake in preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until bottom of bread is browned. Allow to cool 5 minutes before serving.

1/4 teaspoon salt
9 to 10 slices ciabatta bread (or Italian bread)
1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
pinch dried parsley flakes

Toss diced tomatoes with basil, garlic, olive oil, vinegar, and
salt
in a medium bowl. Cover and chill 1 hour. When you are ready to
serve
the dish, preheat oven to 450F. Combine parmesan cheese with dried
parsley in a small bowl. Arrange the bread slices on a baking sheet.
Sprinkle a couple pinches of the parmesan cheese mixture over each
bread slice. Bake for 5 minutes or until bread is starting to crisp.
Pour tomato mixture into a serving dish, and serve alongside the
toasted bread slices.
