It has been 10 days since my dog was spayed, do you think I can put her outside already. I have been keeping her inside since she was spayed. But she is an outside dog, so do you think i can put her out there yet?

I had mine spayed last month & was told to keep her inside other than letting her out to go to the bathroom for the first 14 days. (Especially since she likes to lie in the dirt!) After that I had to bring her back & have her incision checked & then she was given a clean bill of health & can go outside any time now.

Are the stitches out yet? The incision needs to be kept clean until it heals. Also make sure your dog is not overdoing the running around so that she doesn't split the incision.

What did the vet say? In what condition is the incision? If you can keep it clean, then go ahead and put her out.

Stitches out yet?? I would at least wait til she has stitches out and is fully healed, with no scab etc. Once she is entirely healed, then if she HAS to be outside...

If the incision is healed, then sure. Otherwise, I wouldn't risk the incision area getting dirty.
