Everytime she asks for them, her boss ignores her, or tells her that she will have them the next day. Then, when the next days comes, the above happens again. I mean, it is almost April... isn't this against the law???

Have her call the IRS and file a W2 complaint, they will advise her how to file using a substitute form.

Yes it's against the law. She should call the IRS and tell them about this. If she has pay stubs showing her earnings and withholdings, the IRS can help her file a return even if she doesn't get the W-2's but they'll also call the employer and light a fire under them.

She should have received her W-2 by January 31st. She should go to her payroll department and request it from them. If she still does not receive it, then she can call the IRS, tell them she has requested it several times and can not get it. They will send a notice to the employer. Hopefully she has her last paystub which will help her to file her taxes but it would definately be better to have the W-2.

She needs to call the IRS. That is illegal and the boss could get in trouble. GOOD LUCK!!

YOu suppose to receive it by February 15. If you did not receive it, then you should call the IRS.
