Wait until the visitor have finished with the shower, tell the visitor that you have to leave ASAP, and never accept this person in your house again!

Let them finish showering. Afterwards, if you choose or remember to, ask them why they did that; if they say it was because you said they could use the bathroom (no matter what they attach to it), don't let them back in the house because they just confessed to being an opportunist. By that I mean, in their mind, they see an allowance for a particular thing as an allowance for everything.

Next, and possibly most important, thouroughly wash and fumigate that bathroom seeing as the opportunist may have things and friends that you want absolutely nothing to do with.

I really hope this is a hypothetical question. It is isn't it? Really, this has nothing to do with something that really happened, right? I can't hear you. Is it possible your visitors' cooties have come through the computer and infected me?!! No, No-oh, NOO-O-OO-OOO-O-OOO!!!!!!! BURP!! Now I feel better, think I'll get some shots just to be on the safe side.

If the person was staying over night, then it would be expected that they would take a shower or a bath. If they were just there for the evening, I would certainly look askance at their taking a shower. Asking to use the bathroom usually means to just go to the bathroom - not to shower. Not much you could do once they were in the shower though, and I'm not sure if I'd say anything afterwards or not. I'd have no idea what to say. I'd just be really carefull if that person ever came over again what I said yes to. If that person was with someone I knew very well, I'd probably say something to them.

Pretty uncommon situation...
If I were in your shoes, probably the best choice I'd take -if it doesn't bother you, but rather takes you out of the blue without knowing what is the proper thing to do- would be to invite the visitor to use your hair dryer (giving a humourous twist to the event).

Well, for one I would let them finish their shower. Now, by vistor that implies just some random person whom you are familar with. I'd ask them to leave and not invite them back into my home.

I said they could use my bathroom. I assumed it was the toilet but it wasn't. No trouble. As long as they're proper guests and behave themselves, then although unusual, I have no problem with it.

I would let them finish the shower and when they came out I would ask them to please clarify that they want to take a shower if they would like to ask again.

turn on all the faucets and flush toilets and go outside and turn on the hose so that the water would get all crazy on them.
