did he felt too dizzy when he was donating the second time? how is he feeling now? you don´t suppose to donate 2 units of blood but in emergency situations or if your blood type is uncommon is OK to do it without any secondary effect, everything depends on how is he feeling now, if he is feeling OK all that he have to do is to eat healthy, drink lots of liquids (juices, shakes, even water, avoid alcohol) and have a good rest after this crazy days, if he doesn´t feel well he can always go to the hospital to get attention. Talking about secondary effects his immune system is weak right now because all he did so he can get sick easily now, so he have to have extra care avoiding infections for the next days, good luck

Starvation is the last issue to deal with here. You die from dehydration without fluid in about 3 or 4 days while you can go months without food. I'm assuming this person had fluids as 2 weeks without fluid means death. I'd fluid resuscitate them (IV fluid replacement) according to the 4/2/1 rule (in medical books), watching vital signs, and assessing them clinically (are they aware? Talking? Comatose?). Then I'd find out who took their blood and get them fired. The patient is probably ok, just so you know. The sleep deprivation is pretty much inconsequental...ask any resident. Actually, this sounds like many a resident's life...

the most urgent needs are rehydration and rest. lots of fluid and lots of rest. after these 2 needs, getting some food in them will work wonders. this person will be all right, unless they actually keep passing out. this is the same deal as being in an accident and losing a lot of blood. you don't necessarily need a transfusion, but you need the fluid to prevent the blood pressure from dropping too low. if this person had to go to the hospital, they would probably just put them on an iv drip to increase their blood volume. diet will take care of any anemia, if it occurs.

I would definately defer to a medical practitioner for information on how to cope with those symptoms; they could have serious implications

In the meanwhile, try to keep on a regular routine for activities of daily living, especially sleeping and eating, as well as some physical activity. People often overlook the basics as being crucial to good health.

Okay, you're not supposed to give blood more than once every three months because you need that long to replenish for the ONE donation... how about a hospital stay? Vitamins? Lots of sleep, lots of good nutritious food and electrolytes and goodies like that... that's so unhealthy! Take good care of him! :(

Peanut Butter for protein, bananas for potassium (PB & banana sandwiches are good!) and lots of different juices along with a double dose of a multi-vitamin for a day or two should bring them back quick... along with some good sleep!

Take him to hospital. Lack of blood and food is definitely not good!
