Almost all of the Bible is historically accurate.
If you'd like a history lesson, I'd be happy to educate you. My sources are from historiographers all at the tops of their fields.

It has been going through a 2,000 year over-haul. Surely anything moderately shocking or hinting at self-freedom would have been re-written by now.
Originally the bible had a purpose, but in some ways, modern humans have moved on. But for some people that book is the only thing that has kept them alive.
It has little value if you are shallow enough to only be concerned with History. There are still a few gems in the book, even if they have been edited to look a lot less interesting.

I love the Bible! It's a great collection of stories, with some historical fact about it. But that's it! There is known record of the Exodus, or anything resembling it,for instance! And for something as momentous as that, there would have been. Herods edict for all the first born to be killed (after the birth of Jesus) is another example! Big event, but no record! Thats just two from thousands of examples. Sorry folks, it's a great collection of wonderful stories, often contradictory, but still great. It's highly informative about those ancient times, but unless you believe that The Lord Of The Rings is history, forget it!

According to some, science is starting to "prove" events in the Old Testament (also archeology). If this is true, then the bible should have some value.
At the least, it has made some people a lot of money with all the printings it has been through.

If you possess any degree of faith....many of the passages in the Bible provide a feeling of hope in a tubulent world.
For those who are skeptical about everything that is written, it's merely an historical document that was compiled hundreds of years ago.

Actually, the bible is only good if you like other such tales like, Cinderella, and Snow white. The bible was written 500 years after Jesus, and the actuall scriptures of Mary, thomas, and judas, were left out because it would show that Mary was in fact by the side of Jesus, and Judas was told that he in fact would need to betray Jesus, for it was the plan of Jesus to be sacrificed for his God, and not the Jews, who you know were later condemmed. So if you find any good in it, let me know. The only one good thing, the Universal golden rule. " Do Unto Others."

Little value surely??? The bible is our guide to LIFE and DEATH and AFTERLIFE!!! DO you care about any of the three? Most of the world cares about the first one and the first one only. The bible is our key to knowing Christ God and Jesus

Much of the Bible is not to be taken literally, but metaphorically, and through it's teachings, one may live their life abundantly. I have found that many people don't read the Bible but ask others to tell them it's content. If we would but think for ourselves, we would know the truth that will set us free.

It told me about the soon comming depression in the United States and the death of one third of our people from starving, ect. It also told me about the Germans with other Nations from Europe comming here durning that great-great depression and killing another hundred million, and taking the rest captive. Believe it or not that info is in the Bible. The depression has already begun. Therefore you might give some thought as to how you will not strave to death the next four years.
