Praise be to Allah.
Why is that happening? Ignorance
Why Ignorance? Because they don't know that the only one that deserves the word GOD is the one who created people and he whom we should worship.

Haven't you realize the religious is stuck in adult adolescence? That is why they refer to God as the father almighty. The whole mystique of religion reduces a person to a form of parent child relationship.
Have you noticed that God promises punishment I you don't do as he tell you too? Bad, bad, bad human if you don't worship me and revere me for giving you life. If you don't repent daddy is going to spank you. Hear it is I thought fear tactics only work on people. All religion has done is ripen people so governments to use the same scare tactic to control the masses.
Why is it so hard for man to see the God construct is man made? The bible says we are made in the image of God. Any thinking person can see God was patterned after man's own perception of life all away down to procreation. But God birthed man in 7 days because he is so powerful.
Man is creative if nothing else, that rings a bell, man is creative so there fore created the idea of a creator. It kind of blends into the whole idea of using our ability to use our imagination to create a God in our image and make up things to like an all powerful being to fill in the area that don't make sense.

People are people whether child or "a dolt." So-called childish behavior is just a window into how we all truly feel inside. Those feelings don't change as we age -- only our ability to suppress them with various degrees of ineptitude.

IF your are a child of the Living God then we serve the same God. There is only one God. The bible clearly says "we shall not have any other God's accept me."
Most churches and Christians get caught up in titles and numbers and forget it's about God not titles or numbers.
God wants us to serve him, he wants us to love one another as he also loves us. When we as a church can do that then and only then will God truly bless us beyond our comprehension.

Ironically the God that causes the most problems is the God of Abraham--the Jews--who created their God nearly 3 thousand years ago--are still waiting for the promised Christ to appear--& bring world peace--then Jesus came along & tried to remove some of the more barbaric laws from the Jewish God by canceling laws like stoning an adulteress to death,an eye for an eye, give your enemy no peace--etc--Then the Muslims came along and restored some of Abraham's God ability to punish people more severely.--sounds like one very confused God to me!!!

Well, you know that Christians don't evolve. They are brought up to have a superiority complex and never to question it.

Of course my God is better than that guys god because my God is the only true God. Any person who truly believes in their God is going to believe that. If they didn't believe that, then why bother believing at all?

I don't really think it's a "syndrome" as you described, but it's just human nature. Being part of a religion or belief is kind of like pack mentality, and since humans are naturally sociable organisms, I think we tend to compare the strength of our own "pack" or religion to other "packs".
