My family are protestants but i heard that you get free wine in the catholic church which could sway me....then there is also islam where i can have as many wives as i want but no drink.....this is so difficult

Become a pantheist. Embrace all religions! That way you can ask your employer for lots of time off for religious holidays and claim discrimination because they won't let you do it!

If you're just accepting a religion for its material benefits, don't. Religious commitment means actual hope that a religion will get you somewhere. If you just want wine and drink and wives, you could be Christian one day and Muslim the next and Hindu the third. It won't matter to you. If you really want to convert, study the scriptures and fundamentals of these religions. Insha-Allah you will be guided towards Allah.

Why be religous if you can be Spiritual !
You can believe in god, in Jesus but don't be religious.
Catholics don't give wine anymore, in west islamic man can't marry with more than 1 woman!!!
You want to believe.. but faith is not wine, women and that types of things.
Believe in God, follow your heart!!!!

I am sorry that you have been given such terrible advice. The first thing is that you need to be clear on a paticular distinction which is to have a relationship with God or be religious. The problem in America is that too many folk are religious and do not have a personal relationship with God through Christ.
Now the next question is what do you want? This has to be your decision, no one can make it for you or presuade you. But keep in mind there are false religions and cults what can and will destroy your life and other around you. For me and this is me, you should seek not a demonination but rather a Christian church that teachers the word of God, and his stands of holy living. In this you will come to the level on how to be empowered to live a clean and better life, and a life that helps other, a life that is pleasing to God, and a life where you can accomplish natural and spiritual feat that you never would have taught possible. For example, I never would have though that I would ever be in a position to teach at the university level at 22 years old and in am in process of finishing my doctorate degree. God through Christ will grant you favor among men sitting in your high places amongst people with influence and authority. Why becuase he wants you to prosper as your soul prosper.
God (the JudeoChristian God - the God of Abraham, Isacc,Jacob,etc) is an awesom God. He will do things for you just becase he loves you and sent his son to die for our sins. There is no better life to live. You do not have to be worried about guilt, shame, jealously, envy, anger, none of that stuff. He will lift and elevate your mind over petty worldly matters, he will bring you to a level you your thinking if clear, your judgements are fair, your life and conversation are remarkable through Christ Jesus. I cant begin to tell you all the wonders of what God through Christ have done for me in my life and I am only 26 years old. Its an awesome life to live. Now this is from me. But you have to decide. But choice wisely. Becuase your life and soul are at stake.

many wives are nice, but come on. do you really want a bunch of shrouded silent women walking cautiously around you? it's not like they're all gonna be pamela andersons or scarlet johansens, you know.

Hahaha very funny. You know as well as I do, that in Islam you cannot have as many wives as you want. Most Muslim men only want one anyways. There are also conditions set in the Qur;an about this.
Oh, If I was you I would go with Judaism.

If you've decided to be religious, and don't know whcih religion to adopt, then you haven't decided to be religious. Religious isn't a "decision" you make one day, it is the way you view life (and afterlife) and it is who you are now, not what you decide to be.
Your religion at the moment appears, based on your question, to be hedonism.

The one that pays the most. Religion is nothing more than a means to control your mind. Spirituality would be a much better way to go. You are not boxed into thinking your religion is better than another.
