I've never had allergies before, but I started getting stuffy the beginning of this year. Whenever I woke up, my whole face would feel stuffed up and I would be sniffling/blowing my nose for an hour. When I go outside though, I start to feel better over the course of the day. I'm pretty sure that I'm allergic to my room, I'm just trying to determine the best course of action outside of living somewhere else.

It's probably a dust or pet allergy. Try cleaning the filters in your vents, and going to a doctor first, then an allergist if neccessary.

MAJOR CLEAN OUT! open up all the windows, take off the bedsheets and throw them in the washer. dust up the place, throw out everything u don't need. vacuum. or steam clean the carpet. if u have piles of clothes, that could be a problem too! get some new sheets on ur bed that have just been washed (and it's always nice if smells good!). close the windows.

is the bathroom connected to the bedroom? that could be a problem. fully clean out the bathroom too.

exercise alot and eat healthy, too! that's the key! wash your hands alot if someone else living with you is sick. or if you're truly sick.

if the condition hasn't changed in a week after ur cleaning, u probably have allergies to something else (pets maybe?), or i'd suggest u confide in ur doc.

I also get the same thing and I don't think you're really allergic to your room. Probably you're the type of person who gets runny nose in the morning or stuffed up face.

..but a little cleaning up will help as well

did you recently get a new pillow or other bedding? you're reacting to something in your room, not the room itself. get rid of anything you got right before you noticed the allergy.

Dust can do that to you. When was the last time you dusted?
