No, as a 70 year old I can say definitely it's improving. When I was young an African American could not eat in the same restaurant or get a good job because of racial hatred. Women also had barriers to good education and jobs. Things are definitely getting better, fairer.

Sexually....yes. In all other areas, no. Two centuries ago, there were over 312 different crimes in England that had the death penalty, now there are none. There are less wars now than ever. Christianity is spreading at an incredible rate. There is far greater awareness of ecology. The average person now lives better in absolute terms, than the medieval kings and queens did, indoor plumbing, glass windows, foods from around the world. No fleas, ticks, worms infesting them with no real way to be rid of them. The inquisition is discredited and the French massacres of protestants a thing of the past.
All in all, we're doing pretty good.

I don't see how a downward moral spiral could not result in more personal or property crimes, yet in America those numbers are on a steady decline. I posit that over a very long time, hundreds of years, the same statement could be demonstrated to be true.

No. People have a tendency to confuse decency with morality. You may think it's indecent for someone to wear revealing clothing, but that doesn't mean that it is immoral.
All the data points to the world becoming more moral not less.
Less homicide. Less violent crime. Very little slavery in the world. A sense of responsibility about our environment is more prevalent than ever.
I'd say that's a more moral world than fifty years ago.

In some ways, morality has improved, such as less racial discrimintion and being more humane than people were in the middle ages. But there's also an increase in the bad kind of tolerance, which is tolerating immorality itself. There has been an increase in acceptance of immoral behaviors such as fornication, gay sex, pornography, drugs, and selfish ambition such as putting your career and making money over having a child or raising a family.

Yes. What is morally wrong today is considered ok. The bible says in Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
God is known by his mercy or he will be known by his judgment. The world is quickly coming to the point of judgment.

I think so, as people move away from God they invite the hand of the enemy. As we can see on the news everyday, crime is at an all time high, STDs are at an all time high. When you live without God this is what happens. The bible says through death and diseases enter the world. Imagine if people weren't as sexually promiscuous there would be no aids or STDs, if people were not jealous and covetious there would be no roberies, if people loved each other as they loved themselves there would be no murders. God said in the bible, If my people who are called by my name would humble themselves and pray, I would heal their land. So we need to pray and make changes.

I think that's the trend, yes, where there may be some gains in areas, there are more losses in others. This largely results from the denial of God's Word and His authority over our lives.

Well there is less respect for human life abundant in our society.
As far as the christian idea of morals; worry about your own but keep them out of my laws.
