Not exactly tree but a field full of crops of knowledge.
And the fake advertisements and porn on the net act as the weeds found in the field.

I don't know about a tree, its more like a grassy field of knowledge because information can be posted by anyone, and the information may not have to derive from anything previously edited or published, like a branch of a tree. One thing that really makes it a grassy field instead of a tree is the inaccurate information posted by many sites. This is like grass growing randomly where ever there is space.

Unfortunately, no. To some people not the internet nor a tree would help. The only thing that would help some people on their way to some enlightenment is a huge stick of knowledge - if it hit them on the back of the head. HARD.

The internet is what you do with it. There is alot of knowledge to be found, and also alot of b.s. Sometimes it's a bit difficult to separate the two, especially when it comes to religion and spirituality.

--You are right and that indeed is a good illustration up to a point-- of What Jehovah God laid before Adam & Eve!
--The DIFFERENCE being that they were not to even touch the fruit(in accord to what Eve said) WHICH might coincide with not even turning on the computer! ONCE DONE it would be similar to oppening the mythical "pandora's box"
