It could be passing out for a few seconds or a weakness in a limb that has come on suddenly or a disturbance in vision. Those are the usual symptoms of a mini stroke. These symptoms can last from anything from an hour or so to 48 hours, if it is a mini stroke, then the person should recover.

Anyone who suspects they have had a mini stroke should take it as a warning that a bigger stroke may follow and get checked out at the doctor or hospital as soon as possible.

Hope that helps.

My husband has suffered many if the symptoms that have been mentioned above over the last few weeks. I am taking him to see a doctor today and will add a comment here later if the doctor gives us any indication today as to whether he is suffering mini strokes.

Sorry this isnt an answer but I may be able to come back with something helpful later.
