No.
But we should:
1) Allow our soldiers to defend themselves and not instruct them to surrender like boy scouts.
2) Teach our soldiers how to behave if captured. (and not cave in for a cigarette)
3) Not send boys (& girls) to do a mans job.
How stupid can the M.O.D be to let this happen. We knew the threat of kidnap from Iran. It happened a few years back.
Now our soldiers will be charged. They will be sentenced. They will then be deported. What a mess.
Shame on you M.O.D for letting this happen!

Torch the Iran embassy, string up the staff and their relatives and beam it live on Iran. TV (remember how Leonidas of the Spartans dealt with the Persian ambassador?) If that fails, round up all the muslims in the UK/US and do the same to them. Finally don't send troops into Iran, nuke the country instead- time we got some value for money for our expensive nuclear missiles program- After all, what's the value of a deterrent if it isn't used? This would send out the message to the islamic world that the peace-loving patient and democratic peoples of the west have had enough. Delenda est Iran!

It is most unfortunate that we do not, as do the rag-heads, have the death penalty. In which case the idea that you have would be viable. however as our successive Lilly livered governments have thrown away that course of action so arresting the staff of the Iranian embassy would not do any good. I also think that as the rag-head leadership does not consider human life as precious in any way they would continue in what ever terrorist direction they wished to continue.
I have in the past thought to back the Iranians wish for Nuclear power, however with their present attack on out people and the obvious enjoyment of the parading of the kidnapped personnel on TV I will with draw my support and back. if they continue with the present policy a nuclear strike on Tehran at any time after the set up court case,.

I think the real reason that the Iranians had the Brits "confess" was to convince their own people that they are in the right. I fear if the the UK did the same in return, it would endanger the lives of the hostages in Iran. Also, the Islams in UK may cause trouble also.

well, like our embassy staff in Tehran they all have full diplomatic immunity - until they break British law within the UK.
So we can't really arrest them can we, unless we want Iran to arrest our ambassador and his staff in Iran in response - now that would really be humiliating for Britain!

No, I believe the English public should march on Downing Street and drag out the Blair witches and burn them at the stake for trying to contaminate and destroy this Christian nation. If the Iranian mullahs had any sense they would see a Godly authority sweeping this Nation and a Reformation of Biblical proportions taking place and let our people go. The enemy is already polluting our Nation by farcical open borders, police who are paid far too much to write reports and not police! Immigration officers who are more concerned with cigarette and wine revenue than imported terrorists and economic migrants who are choking the life out of our NHS, schools and social security jobs and housing, whilst government quangos and departments are filling their fat wallets at the expense of theunsuspecting (ignorant) public. It is time for the people to retake this Land from the foreign invaders and cleanse us from the likes of ken livingstone, blair, brown, read, milliband and all the other greed fueled MP's without the balls to take on the muslim lowlife who are polluting our wonderful country under our very noses.

It would seem that this was a preplanned abduction so Iran can have a bargaining chip against the UN.
Iranians within the Iranian Revolutionary Guard are feeding dissident groups within Iran this information.
