NO! You can never add two years together. You would not want to since it puts you in a higher tax bracket.

Depends on what you mean by "together". On one form - no. If you mean fill out a 2005 return with last year's info and a 2006 return with that info, and mail the two returns in the same envelope, then yes you can but it's not advisable - would be better to mail separately to avoid confusion at the other end.

You should file every year. you cannot combine income from more than one year on your tax return.
It is true that the IRS will not go after you if you don't file and have a refund, but if have a refund you must file within 3 years or the IRS will not give you a refund.

You could, and you could not file your taxes next year too... But I hope your friends enjoy visiting you in the federal pen...

You do not have to file at all if you made less than the standard deduction which is 5150 for singles this year. Otherwise you will be penalized for paying late.

You can pretty much file your taxes whenever you want. If you're getting a refund, it's no problem at all. If you owe money, and file late, you will owe penalties and interest.

Its better for you to do them every year instead of waiting. That way if you owe the government wont come back and bite ya in the ***.
