Simply put, the bible doesn't go along with most religions when it comes to hellfire, immortality of the soul, sins, and the old law being in effect today. They get involved in politics, they take blood, they don't display the fruitages of the spirit and they are all money hungry. The clergy are paid when the bible clearly says you got it free , give it free. They know the ten commandments but few follow them and when it comes to joining the service they condone killing.
The baptists and the catholics can sin and just say ...sorry..and all is forgiven...they can even retain their good standing and assignment of deacon, etc while they openly live with someone not their wife.
God has strict standards and we need to be as holy as we can be. We need to watch what we do at all times so as not to get blotted out of the book of life. And we need to love everyone, calling on them and teaching them about Jehovah God and his purposes for all humankind until he says enough.

If I understand you correctly you are saying that God is the author of the bible and how do I know that what I am following is correct if it is not in the bible? Holy Tradition was the oral teaching of the church and not all of that was written down in the bible. And the way that I know that what I believe is acceptable to God is that I am lead by the Holy Spirit, as you also should be, to know the truth.

Every Sensible person knows that God did not author the Bible. If Almighty God had indeed authored the Bible, the book would have stayed intact and corrupt free all these years, without contradictions, controversies, errors and filthy stories !

Let me start by saying I am in no way a religious guy. That being said, Religion is not a proof based thing. If it were there would be no Faith. Faith is the thing. the ability to look with in and know that what you have been told is true. I only know this because I was raise in a Catholic family. Hebrews 11:1 Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, The evidence of thing not seen. So there is no proof.
