Good question. I think that if they were on the correct spiritual path then their God will allow His glory to be remembered through such a tragedy as amnesia.

The amnesia that has struck the mind will be lost and the thinking of that person will return to normal through the power of God, the help of God.

It would not happen. I don't know about amnesia, but my mother had Altzheimers. She was at the point that she couldn't recognize us. One night she was talking loud and making a great noise in her bedroom and I went in to calm her down. I was so tired because she had been keeping me up night after night. I told her "mother please pray and ask God to help." In the sweetest voice she replied, "Honey, I pray."

Good question;
I think a religous person who's prayers are being heard by God/Jehovah, would either rapidly recover through his influence, or perhaps not totally loose it. After all, most people have common sence, and to me, my beliefs are covered by that.
