You should never be in the corner anyway, use lateral movement when being attacked dont just retreat until your cornered, but if you do find yourself there either attack, faint an attack or just move into him quick, 'tie him up' (hold/grab his hands/arms) and using the forward momentum and footwork turn him a '180' then either give him leather or if your hurt back off and give your head time to recover. Dont fall down, if its amature boxing its classed as a knockdown and you just lost 1 of three rounds! only take a count if your really hurt of winded! Practice the Turn defence in the gym once you've mastered it its a major tool.

Just walk out either side a lot of fighters panic when they get into a corner and a lot of comments were right to just grab the other fighters arms now there is a risk to try and grab another fighter arms when your in close so yo have to be very careful because your going to be open for every punch when you stretch out you guard

Clinch you opponent over the arms resting you head on his shoulder opposite his power hand, pivot and spin out of the corner turning your opponent into the corner and either circle away or fire back now that you have him on the ropes.

Well, I'm not a boxer. I study martial arts, but if I were in the situation, I'd either take the hits and wait for the guy to wear himself out or duck.

I was taught to grab his arm at the elbow and pull him or spin him to the side. You can step out as you spin your opponent, and put him in the corner. When he throws a punch grab his arm above the elbow, his momentum is going that direction, pull him around and step out.

Try to grab on and then tuck out as soon as trying to be pushed off. Or if you do actually get to hold on til' the ref breaks it up, you have your moment to step out.

cover up put your head on his chest grab one of his arms and spin out, just remember a hook is coming from the direction you spun out from (keep hands up), if it really looks bad take a knee , that will give you about half a minute to regroup...
