I look back to that cross and see that all my sins were laid on Jesus, and that God the Father punished Him in my place.

He willingly accepted the eternal wrath and judgement that we deserve, so that we could go free!

What is your response to this?

Absolutely

I think of the pain that I caused Him as they were pounding the spikes into His hands and feet and I cry

I think of the hurt I still cause Him when I stumble in my walk

I think of how unworthy I am of Jesus and His Salvation

and I praise God for how He changed my heart the day I turned over my life to Him and for the many Spiritual Gifts that He has poured over my life.

Thank you Jesus

One time I was extremely sad about something and was prostrate on the floor in tears. That night I had a dream that was more like real than a dream. I saw a close-up of Jesus face with tears coming down while He hung on the cross. At that moment I finally understood. I know I felt terrible agony with what I was going through but he took every ones agony and sadness on Him since the beginning of time. Can you imagine? He also experienced the second death which is total separation from God. Those that are saved will never have to experience total separation from their Creator. I have felt at times that He allowed me to feel as though He was far from me and it was pure agony. He is real, He is there and He loves us. Knowing Him means never having to be alone. Mmm

I am very much aware of what Jesus did for me when He went to the cross, He took my place, He took my sins and sickness to the cross with Him...And He went willingly..Years ago I was talking to a friend, and she said something that made me do alot of thinking. She said that everytime we would sin, it was like we was nailing another nail into Jesus, another words we would keep nailing Jesus to the cross when we sinned..I know we are not perfect and with sin all around it is easy to fall into it, but when I do something I shouldn't be doing then what she said seems to always come back to me..Its something to think about..

I think that is the best love that anyone on earth will ever experience. The sad part is that so many people do not believe that there ever was a Christ. I feel bad for the poeple who have not come to know Jesus. I think about what God and Christ did for me all of the time. It is the greatest thing I could ever think to do for someone else!!!!! God Bless.

Why would his disciple died for what their have bare witness Christ Resurrection.

Surely if it was a lie they wouldn't be very stupid to die in a horrible way, they could say the whole story was untrue to escape the prosecution. That really show what human sacrifice really is.

Judas (not Iscariot)- stoned to death
• Matthew- speared to death
• Peter- crucified upside down
• Phillip- crucified
• Simon- crucified
• Thomas- speared to death
Bartholomew- beaten then crucified
• James (son of Alphaeus)- stoned to death
He was thrown over a hundred feet down from the church in Jerusalem when he refused to deny his faith in Christ. When they discovered that he survived the fall, his enemies beat James to death with a fuller's club. This was the same pinnacle where Satan had taken Jesus during the temptation.
• James (son of Zebebedee)- beheaded
The Roman officer who guarded James watched amazed as James defended his faith

Iam very thankful to our Lord Jesus Christ for dying and resurrecting for us, to give us that chance at eternal life with Him. Praise God in the Highest.

I believe that Jesus Christ, who was God in human flesh, paid for my sins when he was crucified. He took the punishment of everyone who repents and trusts in Him (the elect).

We all need to be reminded of what Christ did for us, which was sacrificing his life so that we would be saved. I feel extremely blessed that our creator would be willing to come to our world, be human like us, and died for us. No other "God" from any other religion of this world has done that. No other "God" died and lived.

We did not ask God to died for us, and we do not owe him anything. Grace from God is given freely, we do not deserve or earn it. It is our choice to believe in him or not. God did not made us like robots, without freedom, nor did he made us imperfect. He made us in his image. But because our desires led us astrayed from him, and from that moment we sinned.

I think it goes against the concept of Gods Ultimate Fairness.

How can God allow such a thing to happen, when fairness means you have to make the man who comitts the crime to pay up for it?

Ive asked this question to many Christians and all they said back was: because humans have sinned back in Eden.

I was like: so are you saying am born with the sins of my forfathers? Doesnt that mean God is going to punish me for something I havent even done?!

Am sorry, but thats just completely against common sense.

Jesus did not die for my sins, the way I see it, he didnt even have much of a choice up there with a spear cut on his side.

And just because a bunch of people said he did, like 80 years after all this, doesnt make it true either.

Edit: God is perfect alright, but Hes not just perfect, He is the Most Perfect. Which means that the Creator of all has to be more perfect than anything because He is the creator. We humans are perfect yes, but we have potentials to make mistakes. That makes us non perfect.

I think it's impossible for us to comprehend what He took on himself, but I certainly do know that He did and I am eternally grateful.
