I'm fcuking fuming with their current attitude today... and I'm getting very very impatient with our government.... can't Tony grow a pair of his own balls rather than hide behind Bush's?

No Michele G, I am very much female. And in the UK, a lot of women use the term to describe an @rsehole of a man.... and perhaps you should get some help if you can't tell the difference between male and female. As for the Iranian Embassy seige, the UK's SAS ended the siege after an Iranian hostage was shot dead. The SAS went on to shoot 5 of the terrorist, liberating the remaining Iranian staff within the Embassy. You could have googled that though, so I 'm assuming you just wanted a dig.

Are you a guy or a chick? It is hard to tell that could be a top strap or a guitar strap. I am not trying to be funny. And you keep saying T wat like a guy would because girls do not usually use that word a lot. How did the SAS save the Iranians in the Iranian embassy in the 1980's?

Hello,

(ans) My assesment of the current situation between the UK & Iran is that the Iranian military with the political blessing of Mr. Armadinajad is being deliberately provokative in holding the 15 UK military personnel.

**Its a purely political act, its definately linked to the Iranian nuclear stand off about Iran developing nuclear power.

**The West has imposed export import sanctions on Iran so it looks like Iran is trying to hit back by holding these people.

**Clearly the Iranian regime is twisting the trueth about where the 15 solidiers were captured, they are lying and splitting hairs over the issue. They are deliberately painting a negative picture inorder to make it appear that it was the UK that invaded Iranian territory. Doesnt matter what the trueth is, what matters is what happens now & how the Iranian regime treates the 15 soldiers in the near future.

**The 15 soldiers are paunes in a wider political power game.

**Its looking like the Iranians will try the 15 soldiers in a sharia court or military court as UK spies thats my guess. What happens ultimately will depend upon the outcome of any trials.

**If the 15 solidiers are found guilty of spying on behalf of the UK government & get death sentences there will be political outrage in the west. I think this is precisely what Iran wants. Its ratched up the political stakes in the power game stand off.

**This whole issue of the 15 soldiers & Iran seems designed to provoke some kind of political military conflict. It could even end in a limited type of war between UK & Iran?? :-((

These rag-heads do not care about their people let alone anyone else. I will expect that the present kidnap victims will be threatened with the death penalty, on TV, at the end of a show trial. they will probably execute the woman first just to get things riled up and then work through the reat on a daily basis for two weeks.

From what I have heard of these buggers, they have no humanity at all, well they keep their women in the closet in case anyone should give them ideas above their station, like equality with men. The trouble is that the rulers of Iran are mostly ignorant 12th century bigots and they should be stopped from getting modern weapons now.

They forgot the moment it happened. The only reason the Iranians aren't letting the British Consulate visit the 15 detainees is because they know, the minute you know where they are, the SAS will be in there and free their people post haste.

Let's hope the SAS gets a chance to bloody some Iranian noses.

The SAS & SBS are most likely already there along with the required back up.HumInt & other intelligence assets have most likely identified where the hostages are being held.
I remember watching the assault by the CRWT on the TV & was gobsmacked.Up until then,I thought the SAS was a military postal service!lol (I was 15 at the time)

Very good question Mucky ...

I think the current administration in Iran have definitely forgotten that, also I think now they are painting us ALL into a corner...

I hope cooler heads in the Iranian government will prevail soon and release them - after all, they've made their point ...

Perhaps the SAS should liberate the hostages/prisoners in a similar manner. But that's just wishful thinking.
