Bush sent us in to liberate Iraq from the evil Iraqi government. The people celibrated. Now we are fighting with the democratically elected Iraqi government against terrorist factions. Doesnt seem to be the same war. The American revolution and the war of 1812 are not the same war even though we were fighting the same country on the same land.

Bush sent us in to invade Iraq, not liberate. Bush is responsible for the deaths of thousands of people because of a misguided policy on Iraq. If we are to liberate every country with an evil leader, we'd be invading half the countries around the World. That is not our purpose. George Bush's sole intention was to make money off of Iraq and that is exactly what is happening. We created a civil war in Iraq and the only possible way to repair it now is diplomatically, not militarily. We need to get out of there.

At some point, we as Americans and human beings are going to have to stop dividing ourselves along the lines of our politics. I think America is becoming more and more polarized and neither side is listening to the other.

The reason people blame Bush is because HE is the President. He got all the glory for his response to 9/11. And now he must deal with the fall out of an ill received and planned out war. As a leader, you can not just be there for the applause. You must stand up for the mistakes. It takes a great leader for that.

As a human being, I feel one must not simply be a follower of someone because of their religious or political affliation, you must ask lots of questions and investigate. More importantly, you must read and get information on both sides and then have the ability to come up with your own conclusion, not some hand fed conclusion from watching the news, listening to your parents or family or even your political camp. A leader leads by doing what is right-No matter how difficult. I truly belief in my heart that people want to do the right thing. People from both sides are moving beyond the propoganda and feeling their conscious (all people have that although some may find it harder than others to listen to) that is why most people blame Bush.

Not all the people are celebrating the war. Read several reports and you find a more well rounded report on the war. I am a mother and the mothers of Iraq are suffering because more children and fathers are dying in this war than when Saddam was president.

I hear people that support this war say "we are there to liberate the country." My question is always liberate them from what? What is the blueprint Bush has given as far as what Iraq is suppose to look like post Bush. How will it be different than pre Bush? This is called a vision. Any great leader/business/successful person will always tell you, you need a vision. If those questions can't be answered then the person is just following something blindly. That is never good whether it is a Democrat or Republican in office.

Primarily because we wouldn't be in a war with Iraq if Bush and his administration hadn't pushed it. And don't bring 9/11 into it, because Iraq had nothing to do with it. If this were a real "War on Terror" the concentration would not be on Iraq, but on the terrorist cells across the world. Because of this war in Iraq, you now have a de-stabilized region of the world that the West had worked very hard for 30 years to keep stabilized. Now we must invest American resources, people, money and equipment, for the next couple of decades to ensure this thing doesn't get out of hand. And that is tragic.

1812 and the Revolution are 2 different wars. But the current fighting is under the same declaration as the war to overthrow the tyrranical Iraqi government. A declaration Bush made. Therefore, it is his fault we were there to begin with and it is his fault we are there now

Bush early on committed himself to being the "War President" and refused to listen to logic, reason and truth-- when anthrax was dropped in the Senate Buildings, every congressional leader fell behind the war. Bush went full steam ahead to kill and destroy, then establish a puppet government that will now lay down and sell Iraq oil only to a few companies. Why? Because the "democratically elected" leaders of Iraq want to stay alive.

If you want to be guilt free, get solar energy or buy a windmill. Can't do that, right? So you are stuck in this mess like everyone else.

It`s not just the people on both sides but many fractions of muslim extremists are using this as an opportunity in creating hatred against the west. They try potraying Bush and Blair as the dictators behinde war in Iraq(when even the democrats and conservatives voted for it).I think it is time people like Hillary Clinton come forward, admit it and try helping Bush in solving secatarian crisis in Middle East.

Bush originally said we were going to war in order to protect OURSELVES against Iraq's WMD's (non-existent). Then, he said we were going to free the Iraqi people. Next, he said we were staying there to help them build a democratic government. Now, we are there to fight terrorists (A.K.A. butt our noses into their civil war). People blame Bush for the war because he is the one who has continually misled the American people about why we are there, as well as the evidence supporting his latest version of our mission. Who else COULD we blame? He has publicly identified himself as "the war president." Well, with that proclamation comes the responsibility and criticisms associated with his ill-conceived actions and policies. If he is truly the moral man he claims to be, he should acknowledge his responsibility in this debacle.

Blaming others is a way a lot of people choose to deal with the issues of life. I'm sure the soldiers in Iraq feel differently. There is the terrorist issue of 9/11 remember. Who gets the blame there?

To bad we've forgotten the unfinished business of Bush one that the libs and Dems kept reminding us of, forget the overwhelming support of the UN and the Democrat party, never mind that Saddam had every chance to come clean.
Never mind with Bushes new tone left the majority of Clinton appointee hold overs in place to attack him within.
If we had the same consensus on terrorism as global warming we would be lining up who when and where.

Hmmm... what did they celebrate again... Liberation right? But those celebrations were short lived once the Iraqis realized the coalition's troops weren't there to 'liberate' the country, but rather to occupy it.
I think people blame Bush because he lied about all this. He knew he was planning an occupation but told us it was a liberation. He knew there were no weapons of mass destruction but he told us there were. He knew al-Qaeda had no presence in Iraq but he told us it did.
He lied to us and I'm upset, aren't you?

Because Bush and his crones wanted this war and were planning this war long before 9/11. They used 9/11 to create fear and it worked. It worked in the House, it worked in the Senate and it worked on most of the people in the U.S. We can not win a war when we don't know who is the enemy. At this point in the war we the people have killed and maimed more in Iraq then Saddam and have lost our creditability in the world.. Where is Osama? He's not in Iraq. Isn't he the one were looking for? Or is it the oil. Did Bush ever fight in a war,did Cheney? One hid in the air national guard and the other hid behind a student deferment and both are telling us to be Patriotic and stay the course. It sickens me to think Americans are so stupid.
