I do not hate atheists. I believe in allowing all men the privilege of worshiping how, where, or what they may.

I don't hate atheists. I get annoyed by the rabid ones who come to YA to do nothing but insult believers, but I don't hate them. In real life I have no problem with them at all, its only here that they attack us, probably because its safe, they can insult and bully without retribution. In the real world, most atheists don't bother anyone, they're entitled to not believe, its called free will. I don't try to "convert" anyone, and I resent anyone trying to "convert" me to whatever they do or don't believe. The christian job was to spread the word, it's done, I don't know anyone who hasn't heard, so as far as I'm concerned, there's no point in trying to convert anyone. I just wish they'd give us the same courtesy.

Well, as a rule, we should not hate atheists. In truth, we should feel compassion for them and pray that they see the truth.
But there are things that can get under a Christian's skin. Often, an atheist will just say it's a bunch of fairy tales and not listen to anything.
But personally, I don't mind the intellectual conversations we can have, as long as both parties are willing to think openly and constructivly, without putdowns and insults.

I do not hate (excluding the 'definition of hate that means 'love less') the atheist presently. Actually, in many cases, I see 'Christians' actions (or lack thereof) as being part of the turn off for the 'marginal' atheists and agnostics presently in this country.

The Question was NOT why do you hate atheist, the question was "what do you hate ABOUT atheist" (IE; do not like in particular) the answer to me is very very simple. No other group of people accuse others of being so closed minded, and fill that description so very well themselves.

Friend as a Christian for 37 yrs. I don't hate the atheists, nor the unbelievers, or make-believers, or muslums or islam. It is not the people but their false ideals, that I don't like.

Everyone has a right to choose how they believe and how they live, and that does not give the right to anyone to hate them...I don't hate them, I pray for them..and thats a lot better than hating anyone, it works better too.

i dont hate them, we are not supposed to hate. hate the sin, love the sinner. i feel bad for them because we as christians know whats going to happen to them when they die if the dont find Jesus. now i do get upset when they bash christianity, but that doesnt make me hate them. i will pray for the athiests instead.
God Bless.
