Ho hum, I guess we are looking for another fear-hosing.

Ok, this is, as many have already pointed out, the islamic version of the 'Anti-Christ'. If you haven't already had enough from all the swath of look-alike movies like 'The Omen', although even I, disbeliever that I am, took a bit of a shine to Loki, then I suppose that all the hoohah about Islam gives Hollywood another crack at the genre with Dajjal movies.

The point is that, yet again, even the scholars of this religion cannot agree about exactly who, and what, the 'Dajjal' is, or does, or is going to do. Some accounts are pretty scary, and some are, frankly, laughable. Read from the web-page in the link below, it will give you some idea.

Anyway, the point is that this false 'Maseeh' ( see how similar the semitic vewrsion are ? ) is supposed tom herald the 'end-times' and will try to con everyone into believing that he is either 'God', 'Allah', or his duly appointed representative, and as long as we do what he says, and a fair amount of bowing and scraping, all will be well. When, in fact, all will turn to worms.

Another load of old cobblers.

In case you hadn't noticed all the 'Hell' on Earth is brought about by two things, and two things only, either it is the results of the acts of men, or it is the results of the observations of men ( please read mankind, no sexism intended ).

If you care to analyse further you will also see that these two are the two sides of the same coin.

In general I refuse to respond to anything which comes from a source of fear engenderment. The 'Dajjal' fits this description perfectly.

Excellent question!
There is a war going on inside us all, this is the true Jihad.
This is the internal war that we all have been born to wage and overcome. The light and the darkness have many conflicts. God has no form and his qualities are shown through we humans. In the outside world or (Dun-ya)
there will be a final conflict and Dajjall will fight to claim victory over man, who was elevated above the angels. This outer conflict will pit Dajjal and armies, against the army of all the Prophets, Archangels, Heavenly Hosts to subdue the arrogance of those that place themselves in equal status to that one God, that has been spoken of by many throughout the recorded history.
If I have said anything wrong I ask Gods forgiveness...

The Dajjal is the anti-christ in Islamic belief.

He will be a Jewish false messiah that will be an enemy of Jesus(AS), he will probably come from the West. He has mishapen eye and long curly hair. He will have an entourage of women playing music beside him. He will produce evil miracles in the future like rain when there is a drought to lure people to believe in him.

The dajjal isn't mentioned in the Qur'an but in the hadith. He is known as the great fitna (greatest test). As well as Muhammad(AS), Noah also warned his people about him.

All religions teach about false prophets. In Christianity he is called the anti-Christ. In Islam he is called the Dajjal.

He will come at a time when the world is in a state of turmoil and confusion, when people are looking for saviour to lead them out of darkness and release them from their suffering. At that time, people will be very susceptible and easily misled. People will put their faith in this false prophet.

Instead of leading them out of darkness, however, he will lead them further into darkness. Turmoil and suffering will increase and people will become more desperate.

It is then that the true prophet appear. He will come into the world and reveal the truth. There will be those who will try to discredit him and his teachings. Truth, however, will prevail and people will once again be led out of darkness into light.

The false messiah (al-maseeh al-dajjaal) is the liar who leads people astray, the messiah of misguidance who will tempt people by means of the signs that he is given, such as bringing down rain, reviving the earth to bring forth vegetation, and other “miracles.”

So Allaah has created two messiahs, who are opposites of one another.
