He loves us because He chose to have a relationship with us long before the foundations of the world. His love is constant and cannot change, so He sent His Son to the world because He loved us, not because we were good. He paid the price that we could never pay so that we could have that loving relationship with Him. True love is sacrifice and He sacrificed Himself- that is grace!!

That is what Grace is all about!! God came to this economy through the Virgin Birth so that He could redeem our sins on Calvary!! This is how we can be Born Again(St. John 3:5). We follow what is written in Acts 2:38 to achieve this. And when we repent and go down into the water to have our sins erased, we become new creatures in Christ and then He will fill us with His Spirit and we will speak in an unknown language!! Acts 2:4, 10:45-46, 19:6, and St. Mark 16:16-17! Do this and you will experience Jesus Christ!!

God does not love us with an emotional wordly love. He loves us with agape love which is unconditional deep abiding love. He doesn't change his love based on what we have or haven't done. His love is a constant. Exactly like some of the parent-child examples others have given.

Yes, God is love (1 John 4:8) His very nature is love. If you doubt His love, just look to the cross.

You're the one seeing it as wrong. Why do you assume that God sees everything exactly the way that you do?
Did you create God ?
Love and blessings Don

because love is His character just as much as it is holiness..
His Holiness demands holiness from us... yet with our sinful nature we are separated from God. For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes shall not perish but have eternal life john 3:16
His holiness cannot condone sin much less tolerate it but His love reaches out to us and through believing in Jesus having died on the cross, taking all our sin and becoming sin in our place, we become the righteousness of Christ. We are clothed in His righteousness so much so that God sees Christ through us. and because He loves His son, He loves us.

I agree with Amalthea. God has made us all. He cannot help loving his creations. Just like a mother cannot stop loving her children even if the child commits a murder. How can she not love them after having them in her womb for 9 months and then bring him up for years? She would probably blame herself for not bringing him up in the correct way. Like God would blame Himself for letting Satan loose at his desire. He just has a soft spot for everyone, even Satan, who is also His creation.

God is not love.
God is very tolerant and very patient and very merciful. This already means He loves. But this love will fade away if you keep hurting His creatures.
Yes you will be attracting His wrath if youve taken it on yourself to be habitually wrong-doing. (insulting others, hurting others, hurting yourself, constantly lying, cheating, degrading and being an overall git)
But that does not mean He will not forgive you if you feel bad and try to make up for what youve done.
The reason Gods wrath usually falls on people, isnt because they have faults, its because they habitually hurt other people.
Never in all my years of religious education, have I seen a people be destroyed by Gods wrath because they didnt pray enough. Read the stories, they all speak of wrath that has befallen peeps because they hurt themselves or others habitually.
Which can only mean one thing, God is Most Fair, and if you hurt anyone of His creatures, He will take revenge on behalf of those people, unless you stop.

because His love is unconditional. It matters not what we have done, how bad, or how often. Would you not like to have someone like that in your life?. 1st John 1:9.
That is, after all, the whole idea of salvation. No matter what we have done He forgives us, when we hone up to it. What a strange concept in today's world huh.

Because He sent Jesus to die for us on the cross so therefore we are all forgived but you need to ask God into your heart and then we will be saved forever and live in heaven but just Jesus dying on the cross and the shedding of His blood saved us because His blood was perfect
