not a fan of ham and haven't tried lamb, so was wondering if the pork tenderloin would work?

My family loves doing different things for Holidays. Especially Christmas because you have already had turkey at Thanksgiving and turkey leftovers for weeks after. Who wants Turkey again for Christmas?
But we also do it for Easter quite often. We just all pick a "theme"
Chinese, Italian, Picnic foods etc etc etc....and we go from there.

There is no law that says you HAVE to eat ham and no other meat.
Do what you want and what is best for your family. Most importantly have fun and enjoy the time you guys spend together

The only thing that dictates eating ham at Easter (or turkey on Thanksgiving) is tradition. Eat whatever you like.

Actually, compared to a baked ham, cooking tenderloin will be much easier, and less time-consuming.

Who is in charge here? My in-laws once made meat loaf for Thanksgiving! Do what you want and enjoy every minute of doing it, then it will be special and enjoyable. You don't have to apologize for anything! Happy Easter. BTW: pork tenderloin IS a wonderful alternative choice!

Now that you factor out it, i wager that it really is. We do have ham a lot on Easter & New 12 months's Day. Having it the following day. Hamburgers on the 4th of July, turkey for Thanksgiving & Christmas.

no reason at all. Having ham for dinner is not a law.

No reason. We actually decided to have tacos this year. I think it's weird, but I didn't get to vote. LOL.
