How many people know that we attacked the pollution problem in the 70's and 80's and continue to do so, in fact the new cars produce so little carbon dixoide that you can't even read it on our test instuments. One 1975 V8 engine puts out as much pollution as 25 of our newest cars, are diesel trucks have increased their fuel mlage from 3 to 4 miles a gallon to over 9 miles per gallon doubleing almost tripling the fuel milage of trucks and Trains and even planes, Do ou know our biggest Co2 emmisions comes from our leaders and liberl peple who want to destroy our goverment? Think for yourself don't be fooled Gater all the informaton you can and read the siecnce jornals and use your Brains not hype from someone who has an agenda to kill america,

Where do you get your information from?

Right next to me is the Vehichle Certification Agency Car Fuel Data list of all vehicles and emissions.

Even the cleanest of vehicles (Toyota Prius) produces 104 grams of CO2 per kilometre, driving an average of 20,000km a year means more than 2 tons of carbon dioxide.

If every vehicle on the road was as clean as a Toyota Prius we'd only produce 1.6 BILLION tons of CO2 a year. Of course, not every vehicle is this clean and there are a large number of trucks and buses etc which is why vehicles produce 7.7 BILLION tons of CO2 a year.

Can I suggest that you think for yourself, don't get fooled, gather the information, read the science journals and use your brain. Your question and statements indicate that you're clearly not practicing what you preach.

Actually we can measure the Carbon Dioxide from every car that burns anything containing carbon. It's the Carbon Monoxide that is down in the noise. If you had the knowledge to read science journals and actually understand what was in them you would have known that.

The largest source of CO2 happens to be fossil fuel burning power plants, not cars and not people who actually want to solve the problem rather than ignore it and let global warming kill the government (which is what will happen if the problem doesn't eventually get solved).
