why is it they are always hikacked and assumed to be human ancestors... wouldnt you think early Africa would have been loaded with apes ... scientifically speaking

but every ape fossil is always initially touted as predecessor to human... could this be betraying a bias in looking at the evidence... hmmmmmmm?

for example, an extinct ape like Lucy, when you examin the head, the vertibra came in at a steep angle like a crouched animal would and the pelvis is tilted like a tree balancer... a knuckle locking for hand walking not upright running... sounds like a tree dweller hijacked to appear as a upright walker.... but perhaps it speaks of the poverty of the evidence for ape to man evolution

Because Evolutionism is a religion that is propped up by lies and hoaxes.

On the contrary, there are many fossils of prehistoric apes, and also fossils of primitive hominids, and the two are entirely separate evolutionary lines. No scientist thinks that apes are ancestral to humans. That silly idea is never mentioned by anyone except religious fundamentalists hoping to make science itself look silly by attributing to it such absurd notions, and by making such profound observations as "haven't scientists noticed that apes are still here!". Well yes, in fact scientists have noticed that, as well as the fact that humans are still here. And therefore one obviously didn't evolve into the other, though the two lines clearly do share some primitive primate ancestry.

The ancestral tree is complex. See current issue of Scientific American for some details.
