depends on the friendship... if the person you want to ask is a good friend who you do alot of stuff with, then doubtful..
If its someone you dont have too much interaction with, then yes I would say they will think that you are interested...
worth remebering latin dancing is pretty physical..!

I think any guy would assume you were interested in him if you asked him to be your dance partner. The physical proximity, the very nature of the pairing -- you're putting yourself with him in a man/woman partnership -- that implies a relationship together. :D Of course, it does depend on the dance. I can see "just friends" doing swing dancing, hip hop, stuff like that. If you're doing salsa or tango or one of the more romantic ballroom dances, though, it will look like you're setting him up with you.

I was just invited to Salsa lessons and I got the picture ;)
Now if you're doing a square dance, then he might not see the point.

How about lover, sex partner, best friend....dancing it just that, and the only hope is that once you touch, maybe a few sparks will fly.
