What is the deference between the British Media and the Iranian Media?

to me both reperesent government propaganda the british media use word kednap when they report about the captured sailors this is not true
to me they are all brain washer what do you think?

I never trust to the British Media, I am Iranian Officer and we learn how to interpret the news, BBC in Iran and many countries in the World know to be as the most unreliable source as they just making news, while they are a lot of expectation from European as it was always the motherland of Freedom of Press.

However, in Iran, is different, the main source of the news is most cases like this is Government, and there is no independent source. From the other hand the Government of Iran is much more bounded with Ethic and Religion than British Government. IF they lie they get problems.

In this particular case, I am sure that British Government is lying and Iranian are not buying their threats.

The best British could do is to come with APOLOGY which is the proper way, otherwise I am very positive that the sailors may get convictions and long term jail.

What kidnap of British Arm Forces means?

Blair before everything has insulted to the courage of British Arm Forces that they are so weak that could be 'kidnap' like a kid?

Why they did not fight back? They had all kinds of weapons.

Hey man who in this world has trust to British Media, except fool. Why Iranian did not arrest other sailors: American, German, and others who have troops in Iraq. British are lairs they trespass Iranian border and have been arrested, this is a simple International Law, there is no one in whole England to know the Law? Of course they are, but they do NOT have courage to talk, otherwise the BBC is going to convict they as terrorist!

British press is not state controlled, though have to qualify that and say that some papers are now run by Blairite toadies, but even these can turn. Iranian press is state controlled and the people ruled by fear. As for the simple soul who says that Muslims never lie - what planet is he on? As for Iran formerly Persia, the indigenous Persians are not Muslim they are Pharsee. They regard the Muslim religion as an Arab religion and the Persians are not Arabs they are a distinct race with a wonderful history. They have seen their country taken over by a vicious totalitarian regime who rules them by fear. I am victim of Toronto Bed Bugs! Have you ever read in the British Media that in Toronto, Canada, Bedbugs killing all tourists! No never, because they have agreement with Canada to not write ANY negative news against Canada.

Nothing ever just shows the facts for people to decide for themselves,Its not a serious as brinwashing,people still have their own beliefs and can stand up and what they want if they want.i think pictures are more reliable..exept when the good ones are missed out.This is good timing,few minutes ago i found a site,the heading for this picture was " pictures that israel media dont show"

I dont know if this is true or not,all the articles seem very political and relevent (Im only 15 so i dont know many facts) but there is one picture that looks very childish,but its just the point that there is always one side that isnt shown.

The Iranian media is controlled by the Iranian Government... just as Iran restricts OTHER media within it's country.

The British media DEFERS to the British Government rarely... it's one of the most agressive media systems in the world.

Or did you mean to spell "difference" and "kidnap" ?

One is called "Free press" in that no government censorship is given to anything they print and the other one is called "State run newspapers/media" and they are controlled by the government and write what the government orders.
